I was born in Iowa to two fine parents named Steve and Martha. The youngest of three kiddos. I moved to the great northern state of Minnesota in 2001 to attend art school where I earned my Graphic Design degree. I worked in mostly advertising until I decided to shift my focus towards new path in massage therapy. I’ve been a therapist for five years now and have had two little girls with my husband of nine years, Dave.
Since staying at home with my two girls, I noticed I was spending a lot of my time and energy in the kitchen and it was becoming my latest creative outlet. However, it wasn’t until last year discovering I had a whole slew of food intolerances that I wanted to create my own food blog. I had to make up recipes and alter them due to my diet restrictions yet they were still delicious. Now that I’ve conquered whole30, all the more reason to keep the momentum going for wholesome, healthy recipes. You won’t find dairy or gluten here but I assure you, you won’t even miss them.
